    Fairly random--I saw it on another board where someone was asking the same question ("WTF?"). I just checked that board again and saw this response, which I didn't believe until I saw the pics of MORE BAGS at the end:


    It appears my detecting a ???slight, joyful smirk??? on the crush-ee???s face was no hallucination (I have been known to hallucinate, just not about this). The Japanese characters on the far right of the package read, ???denki anma,??? or ???revived by an electric nut-grind!??? A phrase, it turns out, that comes from the crazy world of Japanese porn.

    The chips themselves are black corn, chili-taco flavored and are part of a line called ???Tights-kun Doritos,??? or ???Buddy-boy in tights Doritos.??? Mr. Buddy-boy in Tights is a popular (adult) cartoon character in Japan and having a rotating stable of illustrations appearing on Doritos packages has caused people to begin to collect them. You can see a few of the packages in the image at the end of this entry.

    That???s perhaps more than you ever wanted to know about ???Revived By Mr. Buddy-boy in Tights??? Porn-derived Electric Nut Grind, Chili-Taco-flavored, Black Corn Doritos (from Japan)???,??? but I???m sure you think it was worth it.

    I checked doritos in ebay & didn't see the nut stomping Doritos, but I did see some dude selling Canadian doritos to American buyers. Maybe you guys don't get all the flavors we get - is "Tandoori Sizzler" available stateside?

    Sorry about miskating these for Korean.

    Given that they are Japanese I only want a bag if it still has the Obi. But if I can get them at a good price I would be willing to take a bag in VG condition.

    this is a character line from japan. i forgot the real name, something along the lines of otokonotashi.... something-or-other. it will come to me later. very strange and couldn't really make sense of what was going on with this line. it's basically two japanese business men with french names (i believe jacques & pierre), dressed in leotards, who find themselves in strange / particular situations.

    i used to sell sets of these - it'd be one or two of the characters at around 2" tall with a 1-2 step built-it-yourself scenary / back drop with a card and maybe a sticker. some that i remember would be one sitting on a toilet while thinking, one sitting in the subway across from a lone girl, looking uncomfortable, another one sitting on self-built raft, another teaching a business presentation, and one of my favorites - one with a video camera filming a girl sitting on the edge of a bed.

    they came in a blind box / blind box / random assortment (you don't know what you get until you open it, like baseball cards). i believe they're produced by TOMY or YUJIN. pretty hard to come by and came in a series.

    Japan has crazy doritos- I was all over the corn+shrimp+mayo pizza flavored ones when I was there.
