lately all the birds in my yard and the ones I see about town are fat as hell...is it global warming keepin the bugs out longer through the winter, so they have more to eat? I mean these birds look like softballs with beaks...

In low temperatures, birds have the ablility to compensate for warmth by fluffing up their feathers to make warm air pockets.
