Earliest Remix Album?

I regularly spin The Human League's "Love And Dancing" which is a mostly-instrumental remix of the "Dare" album. I think they were ahead of their time in issuing a remix album, all the tracks here were done by Martin Rushent specifically for this set, i.e. not a compilation of 12" or whatever. Are there any earlier remix albums that folks know of?
