Hey Everyone... This is just a reminder that on this Saturday, March 3rd in Toronto at the Gladstone Hotel's famous ballroom (QUEEN/GLADSTONE - 1214 Queen Street West), another serious TURNING POINT session is going down with A MAN CALLED WARWICK and special guest selector, SENOR VISHAL. SENOR VISHAL has just arrived back from yet ANOTHER trip to COLOMBIA with a trunk full of serious dancefloor flavours originating in this infamous South American country. Considered by some to be the world's foremost expert on Colombian music (and tropical dancefloor music in general), this gentleman's selections are always among the most memorable of all the TP guests. However, expect this session to be chock full of not only the best Colombian music, but rhythmical treats from all over the more warm areas of the earth, including the Caribbean, Africa, the Middle East, South America, Asia and elsewhere that will make you dance HARD. Even Keb Darge couldn't resist shaking a leg when he was last in town. Seriously, don't miss out as this going to be a very special evening indeed! Arrive early to aviod waiting in what's become a customary long, LONG, line. Doors open @ 10 PM. Cover is $10. Sitting is not allowed. ALSO... On Sunday, March 11th, in the same beautiful space as TURNING POINT is Toronto's premiere record show, FLIP-SIDE - a record show dedicated to the collectors and the DJs. Some of the city's most serious dealers, collectors and DJs are offering what's always a TRULY world-class assortment of vinyl on LPs, 45s and 12" - funk, soul and jazz, reggae, latin, rock, house, drum and bass, libraries, soundtracks - basically all that's good for the ears! There's been sightings of some very well-known heads from around the globe at the last few shows, so don't miss out on what many are travelling thousands of miles to be at! Entry is only $3. Doors open at 10 AM and remain open until 4 PM. If you'd like to reserve a table, please contact Bullwackies@yahoo.ca w/ the subject, "Record sale".
