I've been messing with it lately and I'm trying to sync it to my mpc 1000. i want to use some software synths,etc. The solution i've come up with is to do my drum programing straight from the mpc midi out to live, and then adding the syths in live clips. Then when I have a few 2 bar syth clips arrange em in live to play out the way i want....is there any other ways of doing ish like this in live? Do you guys turn your drum programs into live clips also? Just wondering...

I would personally bang out your beats on the mpc and record them as audio loops in ableton, preserving the mpc's timing.
