Party jam's (hiphophoorayrelated)

Talking with a friend of mine we got into discussion about jams that get people excited when heard ie. party jams. This got me wanting to make a list see how many I could come up with. I couldn't think of much off the top...so I challenge soulstruters to come up with as many "party jams" dating from the 80's to today.what do yall think?go...

    haha not quite. Actually the story is true, but the subject came up cause we do a live mix show for college radio and are trying to do themes each week. Last fri. was the dilla tribute, this week...

    do like, hella braeks on an obscure jazz record really count
    as bonafied "party jams" .

    i always thought "party jams" were tracks everyone knows
    and loves and wants to get to the floor and dance.

    You should check out itunes compilations to start out with, but don't buy stuff from there though because the bitrate is poop. Also, find some record stores and go through their pages... dj's tend to buy party rocking material, so you're bound to run into tons of good stuff at online record stores. I know of one in particular that has a party classics section. They're in new york.
