Not quite sure of its point, but it's an easy way to document your actual (non-vinyl, computer-positive) listening habits. And I guess meet other people with musical taste as bad as your own.http://www.last.fm/user/soulmarcosa/

I was until I re-imaged my laptop & haven't got around to re-downloading the software. I never really used it though.

On my flight out to England this winter I sat next to a dude from Missouri who was traveling to Sweden to meet his girlfriend that he met on last.fm The thought of being fawned over by buxom Swedish girls was enough to persuade me to check out the site. It was not, however, enough to get me to sign up once I saw how bizarre that place is.

  • belonging to a group gives it a bit more personality if you like, over time / each week you can see what is most popular with the group - if there was a Soulstrut group for example you might expect to see Drewn's People Music mix up there, or Delay's Vitamin C in love etc ... suppose the question quickly becomes does a soulstrut group get set up !?!

the thing that troubles me about that site is when people message you like "oh can you upload that album i saw you were listening to." what part of the game is that?
