    90% of that record is . The only reason to own it (other then my wife is an alum & I buy almost any decent local lp) is for their version of "Shining Star" that does a total in the middle.

    pretty sure i picked one of those up sometime last year w/ some other school band records.
    thought it = terd status.
    sold it at one of the shows for $10 or $15

    This record is not a raer at all but I believe you, in the States, will find it before me though.

    A copy just went, on eBay, yesterday, a New York store sold it for $20... I missed it!!

    It features a cover of "Dance To The Drummers Beat"

    Holler via PM (or here) if you find a copy.

    I'll turn this into kinda beat, I need to sample it.

    What I heard from this record is def chopable plus I like the sound.

    btw, i first saw the record in the a1 rare box back when aldo was still in charge, 2001 or 2002. weird dude but he knew his shit.

    I have a University Of Miami record on Mark from the early 70s (I think). It has a couple uptempo big band instros with strong drums. Red cover. It's one of those 'auditorium recordings' as opposed to a studio effort though. There's a fast breakdown too on a Don Ellis cover. Plays VG+ and is moderately ringworn. Someone may want it.
