    frank is doing fine. have been speaking with him during the protests, and he was not under direct threat at any time. his internet access is obviously sporadic, since the entire country is still shut down. as you can see in the article, the naming of a prime minister yesterday eased tensions in the country considerably, though the strike continues while the new prime minister's duties are confirmed. ideally they would be taking away the senile president's power without sacrificing his "title" as president, for the sake of international diplomacy and because the guy is probably too doped up to know the fucking difference anyway. hopefully this will all get straightened out soon so the unions can call off the strike and return to what will hopefully be a stronger and healthier country during the transition. i'm sure he sends peace to all of you who know him.

    just read his blog and it sounds like some serious stuff is going on, hope he and all his newfound friends and families are doing alrite over there!
