Security Systems?

My company has a fenced off yard where we store equipment and vehicles. Problem is it's in a remote area so it's being robbed all the fucking time. We locked everything up but bums go through trash looking for scraps, they tear wire out of our equipment to sell as scrap, go through our vehicles, etc. If it ain't bolted down it's gone.My boss is looking at some $2500 security cameras (just the cameras!!!!) but I think we can do something cheaper than that. Problem is there's no access for phone lines so it's gotta be cellular. We have a power source though.Any ideas for something that would allow me to monitor our yard from our office so I can call the cops if I see anything?

    Last dog we had got killed. My boss is completely against using dogs.

    damn thats fucked up. motion detectors and cameras or a paid guard might be the only way to go.

    A sniper with a .22cal rifle and these shells .

    Short range low velocity shells that make a sound simular to a small firecracker.
    Drop a body back ther and leave it over the weekend as a warning, No more problem.
    Sounds like a body wont be any big deal to explane in this hood.

    But im just sayin, ya know?


    Maybe thats a bit harsh....ok wound a few, that'll work.
