See, the greater availability of home studio set-ups have its good and BAD points. Now, every no-talent, wanna-be rapper can put out wack shit. There is SOOOOOOO much shit out there that would never see the light of day but for home studios. Moderation is key to most things. This highlights the interesting juxtaposition between freedom of expression vs. major label gatekeeping. The rap music filter has a leak in it.
I thought soulstrut was already up on the Reh Dogg phenomenon... I woulda posted some of his joints a minute ago had I known. This one here is probably my favorite, but dude got mad heat floatin' around on youtube...
