I'm not really into "dance music"- but this a good fuckin record.Nice combination of electro/early prince...and some other shit that's hard pin down. Solid.

    That album's pretty nice. "Wee Bounce" is a cool track.
    I'm really feelin all that Ed Banger type shit: Justice, Sebastian, Mr Flash...

    So-me, who does all of the packaging for Ed Banger is definitely designer/illustrator of the moment. Nobody's touching those covers!

    i don't know... people hate or love her, but i think "hot chick" is cool. plus i bet it gets the chicks movin in the club.

    Yeah, I was really into the whole french house scene from like '96 until 2001, after that I kinda lost interest, but Mehdi's always been nice.

    needy girl is such a fucking joint!!!! got addicted to that for a minute, his slap bass skills are violent. dood's vocals need a touch up though, he sounds like a producer not a singer.

    mehdi got the gated snares on lock. any body who's ever sold boogie on ebay knows that most of it ends up in france! figured someone from france would hit sooner or later rocking that style. looks like it is dj mehdi.

    i like that cover, too, and can kinda see how the aesthetic fits their music, but it definitely looks like a metal record. my college radio station, KALX, got serviced with the EP and nobody bothered to listen to it for months-- rather than getting added, it ended up in the "sell" pile, probably because it looks like some headbanger (pun intended) shit. i ultimately donated a copy and it ended up getting a lot of spins-- i think it charted at #1.

    a lot of this shit is mad overrated but there are definitely some good shit coming out of these camps
