Recommended tape decks?

Got some cassette to CD conversion jobs coming up and was wondering if there's any makes/models anyone may want to recommend.Thinking about grabbing a Tascam 238 or 688 just for the hell of it.Any advice/opinions welcomed.

    nakamichi's are good. if you're converting to digital media just make sure the deck has a solid speed accuracy, a low wow and flutter (0.07%)and a frequency response of at least 30Hz - 18kHz.

    marantz and NAD make good models that are not as flashy as nakamichi but are well spec'd.
