Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

Loved this when I was a kid.......when my kids were young it was a tradition to wake up and watch every year.......smell of Turkey cooking in the kitchen.....digging the big balloons, floats and anticipation of Santa at the end.Just turned it on....When the hell did this turn into a friggin lip syncing karaoke parade!!!!Hall & Oates looked pretty out of place....and pretty damn good for two guys in their late 50's.

    I don't think I've ever seen anyone not lip synch during the Macy's parade, even folks with obvious musical chops. A parade is probably the only place I'd cut people slack; I can't imagine how hard it would be for artists to maintain a good live sound setup on a moving float.

    I didn't mean the lip syncing itself......I just don't remember it stopping every five minutes for a close up lip sync by has beens, never weres and who the hell is thats.
