record stores/flea markets in istanbul? need help!

if everything works out i'll study in istanbul for half a year. can anybody recommend stores or markets where i can find some nice turkish stuff? please drop some knowledge.....

    Loads of 2nd hand book/record stores are available and easy to find if you have enough time. do a search...
    But don??t expect too much: Turkish stuff has been considered to be kind of dope in recent years and thus many stores are already cleared. Additionally, Turkish shop owners nowadays often believe that their records are holy grails galore and want ridiculous money for them.

    BTW, watch "Crossing the bridge" in advance. Istanbul is GREAT to hang out, do some sightseeing and walk around. Verys good clubs as well.
