Colombian digging. Which stuff are must haves!

HiA friend of mine is going to Colombia in December. Which stuff must i recommend bringing with him?Tips are more than welcome I'm also looking for some latin/salsa/boogaloo/cumbia trackid's.     I think it's always important to bring sun screen, fresh water, soap, and clean underwear whenever one is traveling.

    I don't think there are tons of rare records just laying around Colombia for tourists to scoop up...

    you should wander around the jungles speaking english, with lots of jewelry on

    then ask the kidnappers where all the rares are
