    I know the Moments do it on an early album, it may be that? There's also a Lena Horne version on Skye that's sorta Big Band Funky...was it vocal? The instro version on the awesome Ramsey Lewis LP "Mother Nature's Son" has some groove to it...

    I played that for a friend of mine(a Beatles fan, as am I) years ago and he just fucking hated it. It was funny to watch. Me, I love Lena and her rendition.
