Was this staged? I remember watching this as a kid and it seeming very real, especially for the kind of guy Jim Rome used to be. This shit still cracks me up. Rome was basically never funny after this "incident."

    wow. I forgot about that dude (everett) was he the qb for the rams? when they had dickerson? was that when he had the curl and the chain or when he was "past that"?

    yes, yes, dickerson and everett were a combo there for awhile before he went to indy.

    yeah those teams had henry ellard and flipper anderson. damn jim everetts eyes got rill big before he pushed the table aside. jim rome is a shell of himself. he needs his ass kicked by more athletes.
