  • Yawn indeed.
    Neither team impressed.
And ironic that out of the 8 teams who made it to the post, it was these 2 teams who had the worst records going late into the season.
Would've liked to have seen Detroit pull it out too. Oh well.

Now Scott Rolen and Jason Giambi and fifty-plus other ball-players begin the arduous process of injecting themselves with strange chemicals to balloon their batting averages and, in parallel, inflate the admiration and respect of their hometown beloved.

    Yawn, indeed.

Seriously... this year's world series was as exciiting as last year's Stanly Cup. Who won that any way?

Dag - I was REALLY pullin' for my boys, but we just couldn't get it done. Crucial errors that cost us runs, general inexperience and nervousness, and weak pitching.

Verlander looked like a deer in the headlights badder than Jennifer Wilbanks on the mound last night.

There was a point early in the game when he loaded the bases and you could see him say, "OH, FUCK".

Pretty much thought we were in trouble from then on...

So ready for the NBA season, it ain't even funny.
