Can't ID this tune...sounds like some Gap band type ish, which I love. It's taken a Red Greg mix "EARLY 80'S SOUL", and can be found here. Some other nice mixes to check out on this page as well.

can't tell who it is, but I'll be damned if it don't sound like the son of Outstanding

Reg Greg posts on here so maybe he can reveal what he used

That is Deco's "I'm So Glad I Met You" from the album "Fresh Idea." On Qwest Records. Kinda raer...according to some online accounts, it was never commercially released. All copies made available were for promotional use only.

That's a nice homepage, thank you for the link!

  • Modern 80's Soul is dead its about POP PROG-AZZ and FRONK! You know that Poppy Prog rock that sounds like Jazz... And FRONK (Funky Rock), is my shitzzy! Modern soul HA! I threw them joints out in the trash last night 6 boxes of that garbage and lit it on fire only to find out that my neibors dog jumped in to save them but didn't make it (and in the background Atomic Dog was playing as the smoke went out)... Then I had dinner! Kind of like a Modern Sould Dogcake with lots of vinyl syrup, soooooo gggoooodddd!!!
