im sure any of you other vintage electronics nuts know about jack berg sales..this dude has a warehouse full of new old stock and i just noticed he has a lot of battery-powered portable record players up for grabs...they're about as pricey as a GP-3 but at least you can probably get something cooler for the same price:http://www.jackbergsales.com/electronics/electronics-record-players.htmsome of these are pretty fucking awesome, and in BRAND NEW condition which blows my mind:IMG src=http://www.jackbergsales.com/electronics/Major_full_view.JPG>IMG src=http://www.jackbergsales.com/electronics/Seiko_KP_747_1.jpg>IMG src=http://www.jackbergsales.com/electronics/Studio_44_2_Speed_Turntable_b.JPG>IMG src=http://www.jackbergsales.com/electronics/Browni_-_Sylvano_3_Speed_1.jpg>and no, i dont work for the dude.

I didn't know they were still doing that. I bought 2 cool portables from them years ago. New in the box. Each was good for one day of digging. Short, broken tone arm. They still look cool and are sitting here so people can ask if they are for sale, then decide they aren't worth $5.

Man that sucks, I was thinking about dropping some $$$ on a couple of them.
I guess your loss is our gain.
    Thanks Dan!
