So i'm currently enroute to Detroit for Etta James tomorrow (with The Funk Brothers playing at the afterparty!), and I'm wondering where to eat outside of Fishbones??? Looking for some solid eats!!! REPRESENT! Soulhawk - I'm spinning with Br*d & Fr*&k tonight at that midnight madness on Rosa Parks. REPRESENT put on BLAST!

    a good friend of mind had a hand in this sushi place. theo and the like usta tear their dance floor to SHREADS back in teh day. not sure whats happenn with the place now, but their sushi is supposta be fly. Cass is really good for the granola heads. and majestic has some good all around food and stays open fairly late. there a place across the street that is really good too (cant remember the name for the life of me).

    I think the owner of lashish is facing charges for sending money to hezbolla...

    the food is good though.

    the bangladeshi spots in hamtramck( i.e aladdin) are also good( & inexpensive).

    i was stayin strictly in the d. best beer houses in the area are the ann arbor brewing co and the woodward ave brewing co. and of course rally's (even the veg's gotta give it up for the fries)

    Was there for Br*d's new year jumpoff (where the Hawk made an appearance) and afterwards I got a flat on Congress at 3:30 in the morning....

    I'm off to Oslo THEN I'm gonna get on the wheels!!
