serious S****o question [Mac related]

I am looking to make the plunge into S****o and wanted to know what hardware S****o-using Strutters are rocking. I've heard horror stories about S****o crashing on older laptops.I've found a good local blowout deal:iBook G4 Notebook, PowerPC G4 1.33GHz Processor, 512MB RAM, 40GB Hard Drive, 12.1-inch XGA TFT Display, 8X DVD / 24X16X24 CD-RW Combo Drive, Mac OS X Tiger v10.4Will this handle Microwave with no problems?And can you access MP3s on an external drive (if need be) without trouble?

    my boy rocked a g3 ibook and minimal ram with microwave and had little problems. i think the beauty of microwave is that its usb 1, which, to my intuitive dorky brain, less intensive on the cpu because it need not go super fast. how r*ne and microwave figured out how to make the damn thing so stable given the small pipeline of usb1 is beyond me.

    all that aside, you should be cool. max that ram out and you should be $. and externals are just as easy to use on pcs as they are in mac world.
