I heard this song like a month ago and I still can't stop listening to it. I guess this would be classified as "freakbeat" or "mod" but I really don't know thing one about the genre. Is the original MGM 45 hard to come by? I found this on a google search: http://www.soundbar.de/45/Freakbeat/Freakbeat-unten.htm One Way Street - 1969 on MGM and then this version which I was really surprised to hear, i don't like it as much as the original - doesn't sound as "thick" or urgent, but the added percussion is cool: One Way Street - 1971 on Philips Did these guys put out anything else worth checking out? What's some similar stuff in this genre I should be checking for?
