Anyone got a good tip for some free(?) software for keeping track of your collection - apart from an excel spreadsheet!

Is there any such software? Because if there isn't, I'd consider making a program like that myself. (I'm always looking for a cool side project to work on.)

What kind of features would you be looking for? What do you want the program to keep track of? Tell me what you're looking for and I'll see if it's feasible. Other strutters please chime in as well.

Don't worry, if I do it, it will be free. Web apps are my thing, so it would be web-based.

I use CATraxx. It's not free, but (relatively) cheap and very powerfull. more here
