Apologies to Jaymack - I know how much he hates these ...I usually keep a low profile about these post milestones, since I reach them WAY too fast, ie the percentage of myposts that are actually contributing anything other thana wisecrack is painfully low - still, I felt like playingsome rackords to celebrate the occasion, so here's a mix, recorded live tonight straight from the mixer to the hard drive.Heavy on the soul, but with a few surprises tossed in, raers andcommons - from Dusty Springfield to Earl Carter and the Fantastic "6"!Just wanna say I've met many many good people through thissite, some in "real life" and some just as heads to rap withover the broadband, but more than a few I consider friends. And, this place has never failed to make me laugh out loudat least once a day. Thanks for all the knowledge shared andall the comedy - I got much love for le Strut. The Mix (circa 1 hour @ 256 kbps): fivekaymix - THE LIMIT

Thanks to everyone who checked in ... here's a tracklist
for the Mix, in case anyone is on the fence or was curious:

Easin' In (trainwreck mix ) - Edwin Starr
Everybody Get Some - Gas & Funk Factory
Tighten Him Up - Eloise Laws
Sad & Lonely - Albert Washington
Funk Shack East - Dave Cortez
How Can I Forget You - Marvin Gaye
    King Kong - Electric Ladies
    Helpless - Jackie Wilson
    Lovin' Lies - Third Guitar
Voice of the Dying Man - Los Pop Tops
In Love's Shadow - The Choir
    Little Nightingale - The Mindbenders
You Don't Own Me - Dusty Springfield

You're Moving Too Fast - Fanatics
My Pride Won't Let Me - Eddie Purrell

    I Quit This Bitch!

... as it was done "live," with no preperation
beyond pulling around 60 LP's and as many 45's
and just letting it flow, there are a few sketchy
segues and a couple iffy choices, but overall I
think it makes for an hour of pleasurable listening,
so check it out if you get the chance.
