COUSIN JOE OF NEW ORLEANS
"They ain't been straight since nineteen-eight
But now they got it fixed
They put the 'sip' back in Mississippi
Since 1956
Now that the juice is back on the loose
The people have peace of mind
The people who sip can take a little nip
Without serving time"
I can tell that whoever started this thread posted while drunk, but when he made a reference to Cousin Joe's fine 1973 (or was it '74?) album on Bluesway, I had to quote my favorite song on that bad boy, the catchy-as-hell "Juice On The Loose."
I was actually listening to the LP while screwdrivin
it was glorious
time for work, bye kids
