    B**an,

    U CRAZY SON!!!!!

Italy is fantastic. I had a GREAT time in Italy. Would love to live there for a while. Fools go on strike at the drop of a hat and take two hour lunch breaks every day with mad wine at lunch. Beautiful women, great wine and food, crazy cars, classic movies, incredible architecture, etc.

    YEAH ITALY!!!!!!!!!

    WHO HAS BEEN TO ROME?

I lived there for about four months and I miss it every single day. I meet my future wife there. She is not Italian. Italian girls are near impossible to pick up unless you are italian or you are introduced to them by a family member.

I am a dumb ass. I ordred a "Pepperoni" pizza in ROME cuz I was so stoned.

Then the dude came back and said "are you american", I said "no". He said "what were you hoping would be on your pepperoni pizza" and I was like "meat and cheese". And he told me "pepperoni" in Italy is peppers. And that fool said "he would take care of it" and made the best fucking pizza I've ever eaten. It had prossuctio (sp?) on it and a gang of delicious cheese.

    Yes to Rome.

    10/10

You can do Rome in a day if you don't have to actually go inside everywhere and buy t-shirts. Then take a train down the coast to Napoli & Pompeii, stopping off halfway at Terracina/Fondi for some lovely beach camping and the best buffalo mozzarella on the planet.

That is some bullshit. Sure you can drive by the tourist traps in one day, but if you do that you don't see shit. People rush through Rome on their way to other parts of Italy, but when you dis Rome you dis yourself.

Colleseum, Vatican, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, etc. you can't do all that shit in a day. You need at least 3-4 days there to get the feel of the place...

    peace.

Rome is da ish. Was there ten years ago (damn, time moves too fast) and enjoyed every single day. And I did pick up an italian girl without being introduced by a family member. not in rome though ...

yo b**an, are the subways still painted? 10 years ago that looked like new york in the late 70's...I painted a train there in sunny daylight on a sunday! we were filming trains there on a station till the station boss came to us and wanted to handcuff me. i was going for dumb tourist only filming, made some noise on the station till some superdressed supercop showed up in suit and tie and wearing the shades, showed his sign to the stupid fuck who wanted to handcuff me, took us with him (I was like wtf) and escorted us to the exit and said "va bene" we did the funky penguin afterwards...aahh bella roma...

DOOOPE, hell yeah, Italy still holdin it down trainwise! And yeah, thats what I forgot to mention, piazza di spagna is THE tourist trap down there....they literally try to wrap you around your finger...a friend of mine made that mistake and refused to pay for his "band of friendship" and almost got beaten up. Also make sure you pay the correct price for coffee. Romans are known to have the two price system for that restaurant shit

if you are tourist, avoid taking taxi : those are extremely expensive and they cheat on the price......

as for the rest, I suggest you takin a look on the east coast cities too (beside rimini).....

the life there is much less expensive and they have as much "beauties" as the most known/popular cities ....

the only difference is that the former ones suffers for lacks of promotion.....

Rome and the rest of Italy is absolutely beautiful.
I didn't get to a lot of the touristy places though, me and my (now ex) girlfriend were there for about 5 days, and on the first day we found out her grandfather had died, so neither of us were too keen for sight seeing....it was a much safer place than I thought it would be though.

My favourite parts of Italy were Florence and the Cinque Terra region though.
When I grow up, I want to live in Italy for a few years.

I took this pic in Verona.
