Not sure about Thailand, there will be records there somewhere. Try the phone book. When I go to asian countries, I ask anyone. The taxi driver, dude at the 7-11, whatever. Someone will know.

Hong Kong is dope, my boy KENNY got that city on lockdown. There are some serious record places out there.

    Someone must know about Thailand.

I heard Phillipines got some ill ass record stores.

    peace.

  • THere are QUITE a few spots in Bangkok...

There is the THEIVES MARKET in CHinatown - this is a night market where dudes just rock there shit on the ground. Its about twenty city blocks of stuff!!!Its about once a month or something like that..

Also in CHinatown, I think it was on THANON MATRICHIT, Is about three VERY oldschool record stores in a row. So old in fact they don't like selling records but renting them so you can put them on cassette!! THere are about three in a row with records from the fifties (and thats about all)....

The Best spot is just down the road from these stores, on the other side of the road, just across the little river...is a crazy little digging hole...It has been dug out a bit but it is great. There is a near rabid dog that you have to dodge all the time, but it has been worth it...The guy that runs it is nice.

There are also quite a few Audiophile style stores in department stores. I forget where they are but it is somewhere out east...

Plus a couple of new stores....

Also there is the big market out north - CHATUCHAK. THere is a record store in the market - I still remember passing up Dizzy's "Portrait of Jenny" (whoops) for AU$20.

    Bangkok is ACE

There's a few other little spots, but I can't give them all away!!!!
