Shure Whitelabel - Slight Distortion on Hi's

About a 2 months ago I picked up a shure whitelabel and have just recently noticed that there is a very slight amount of distortion on hi pitched sound (eg, woman singing, horn licks etc). anyone else noticed this? It's still a fairly new cartridge and I dont use it all that often so I couldnt have worn out the stylus already. The thing is, Im not sure if this has just started happening (and Ive only just noticed) or it's always been like this.do I need a new stylus? or is this common for the whitelabels?(edit: yes, Ive set the tracking to the "Typical Tracking Force" for the whitelabel)
