Playlist suggestions for Family function...

I am doing a family function this weekend and I would greatly appreciate some suggestions on possible "party" tracks from the 60's and 70's. Off the top, I would say Motown for the 60's and any of the 'popular' funk from the 70's like Parliament or Kool & the Gang. What are some lesser-known tracks that I can add to the playlist as well as guaranteed crowd pleasers. Thanks in advance!!!!

    'Funky Sensation' by Gwen McCrae, 1981. A dj played this at a family function and folks was gettin down.
