Does anyone here have a problem keeping their records organized like me? I swear I just start grabbing shit and never put it back where it's supposed to go.

It helps to be an anal-retentive neat-freak, like me.

I start with order and it quickly descends into chaos. The lps are easy enough to organise (by genre and alphabetically and female vocal male vocal etc) But the 12"s are the hardest to keep some order to for some reason.

That's the thing though, when you do put them in some order, you want to undo them and put them in another order, for no reason. For some reason I decided to put my jazz stuff in alphabetical order by label. It's fine for awhile, but when I have to look for something, let's say, Dave Brubeck, I would either go to Atlantic or Columbia, but he also released a few albums on other labels too so... I may have to rearrange things again.
