How do I tell if my Mac (Power Mac G5 Dual 1.8GHz DDR) has...4 DIMM socketsor8 DIMM sockets?

    if you have a specific model number you can probably look it up on the website or maybe even the bios but otherwise just open it up and see

    very easy........top left corner, about this mac/more info/memory

    basically runs system profiler, which is in your applications/utilities folder.

    Yeah I got it bro. Getting new RAM so I needed to figure that out.
