Who is feeling "I love the blues, she heard my cry" on the whole?
Now that's a bad record! Can i get a co-sign up in here? huh huh?
I have it but never really gave it a proper listen...always thought it was a little but dissapointing compared to his other MPS releases. Liberated Fantasies is quite good too!
George Duke's The Inner Source 2LP is one of the baddest records out of the entire MPS cataloge.... and theres a whole lotta nice MPS releases, i really really dig all the great stuff Joe dopeass Sample has been involved with but the INner Source record is a f*ckin nugget!
Feeling "Brasilian Love Affair" when it gets grooving. Duke was good with Zappa too. Sample has turned in hella tepdiness in his time, but I celebrate the stuff he's done on the early Michael Franks stuff. Both talented players of course, but Duke gets the nod in this head to head.

Come on, anyone with a last name like that deserves props.
George Duke's MPS stuff alone kills Joe Sample's whole catalogue.

How about Miles Davis vs. Jimmy Hendrix - Which one fucked Betty Davis better, you think?
