I'm definately feeling spank rock. You have to like them just based on the fact that they have such an awesome name. Just say it out loud "Spank Rock."
The first time I heard them was at the last SXSW. I was kicking it with cosmo, ayres, and aleit, they wanted to head over to this party where they were going play. I had never even heard their name before but went along and was blown away by their live show.
I highly suggest seeing them play live, blew the roof off the place.
Check out the Couche Tarde Mix from TTL. Its a little bit of everything, best use of Louie, Louie in a mix hands down. They are most definitely upstanding dudes. Used to play records with Chris back in baltimore.
I saw them play at the Roskilde Festival in Denmark a few weeks ago. It was fucking explosive! He had two DJs with him, and they completely tore it up. Fantastic show.
