Musicstack/eBay phenomenon

Often when I find a record on eBay I'll go to Musicstack to see if I can find it cheaper, or at least guarantee a copy before the auction ends. A slightly interesting thing has happened recently, though. I put an auction in eSnipe, later get a copy off Musicstack before the auction ends, then when I go to check the original auction, it's been removed from eBay. This has happened to about 3-4 items in the past couple of days, all with European dealers, and from a MusicStack seller that doesn't have their own warehouse but instead gets their stock from other dealers.Basically it looks like the Musicstack seller is buying the auction copies off eBay for me. Am I right about this? Does it happen a lot? Have I completely descended into the depths of record collecting nerddom by noticing? And asking about it here?

Isn't it more likely that the seller on musicstack and the ebay seller are the same person, and hes being a bit naughty listing it in both places. If the ebay sale reaches above his musicstack price, he'll pull the musicstack listing, if someone buys the musicstack at set sale, he'll pull the eBay one. Risky game he's playing if that's the case though.

Some big sellers list in multiple places.... (A HREF="http://www.recordsbymail.com/">*COUGH*/A>)

I don't think there's anything wrong with it, as long as they can keep their stock in order.
