    i wasn't a big proponent of this either...a bit more barcelona than brooklyn, i guess. but then i got high and started thinking, how many times do you pull up for a jumper and get a handful of groove? nothing but sticky-black effing with your release/rotation/what-not.

    aesthetics=eh. sensibility=we'll see.

    This is the dumbest idea since the dress code. Did the players ask for this shit? Did the fans ask for it? Then why do it??? I might be sounding like those old golf dudes against titanium clubs and balls that fly 400 yds, but come on yo, keep the game simple.

    This is the dumbest idea since the dress code

    what's so bad about this? It's not like they're raising the height of the rim or lengthening the court or something crazy like that. I mean if it improves/fixes things (like, for example, stopping the ball getting slippery from sweat), then bring it on.
