    I like these more focused jazz books. I have not read this one yet, but I plan to.

    Kahn's books on A Love Supreme and Kind of Blue were the informative kind of hair-splitting jazz geekology that I need.

    Kahn is a great writer and those other books mentioned above are must-own so I can't imagine that this one could be bad. Looking forward to it.
