GLASSES help?

you're in iowa right? This is no good but I know this store in Hollywood that specialises in like black square frames,(for all your emo needs) ones like that but with like clear under rims if you want them (that's what i got but like you i lost them). I don't remember where the store was, what street or anything, I just know i was there, you know.

as big as those? the ones i had that i lost were black rimmed, but these look enormous...which is what i want.

my hope is that while wearing your new glasses (that i hope you will find) you will also cop a constant look of surprise. dunno where ya at, but in pasadena there is/was (haven't been down there for a minnit) a store called Old Focals on Green Street that has just a big ol selection of vintage frames. Up in the bay, on College Ave. in Oakland there is a store called Phoenix Optical that also does the same thing. The owner also designs his own retro-style frames and they're all over the store so it can be hard for a second to tell the old from the new from the old. they are clearly old/vintage/kitsch frame obsessive and know their game!! you could probably email them or describe over the phone. they do lenses too, but no prescriptions.

ako, check your phone book for old janky glasses joints. i got the same pair you want (imitation cazal) for $25 at a place in milwaukee called "quality optical"


look for some listing similar to that. hollywood will break you. stay the fuck out of hollywood looking for glasses.
