Mike James Kirkland Doin It Right

I know the Hang On In There was the shit, but what do you guys think of his second release? I've only heard a cut here and there, is it up to far with the first one?

    Still good, but not as solid/classic. And my favorite, the title track, has dialouge on like half of it between MJK and a lady whose voice makes me want to claw my eyes out.

    You know how Hang On In There was half love songs and half social consciousness? Well, imagine if it were all slanted towards love songs, and you have Doin' It Right. There are a couple of songs I skip over, but in general it's a solid album - I'd recommend.

    (Interesting visual pun on the cover - on one or two of the composite photos, he appears to be literally tiptoeing through the tulips...)
