Anyone remember this group? They were from Kansas City, MO. Big dude named Ernie sang for them and went on (I think) to be in a band called Tenderloin. I don't know if they ever put out wax, but I saw them live several times in Austin in the early 90s. I bought a few white labels (cassettes, that is) from them and really dug their stuff. I've since lost the tapes. I wonder if their stuff would have held up for me, though? If anyone has any of their stuff, please let me know (or meet me over in ).

I thought this post was going to be about fanboys that wear black trenchcoats and are obsessed with the movie/comic.

    What a letdown.

    Whoa! I had that shirt.

Maybe I'll just get drunk at a gig and call Chris at 4am East Coast Time. PM me his number, would ya?

I worked with Ernie at the Music Exchange in Kansas City for some time.
Solid dude. Much beer and grass intake when we were together.
I think he lives in Florida now.
We had running yards of their LP in the shop.
Funny to read about the SCD on Soulstrut.

I figured someone here would know said deal about SCD. I just learned that there's a 16-song CD called Layla Deluxe with, I believe, all the stuff from the two tapes I had plus some extra studio stuff. I'll try to track one down.
