Figured that some of you graphic-design record-heads could appreciate this...My grandfather receintly told me that in the early 1940s he designed the packaging and advertising for a record repair kit titled 'Nu-Holes'. Back then, records were made out of shellac and the center holes would wear out. This kit was available as a quick fix to solve the problem. Last week, I actually found one of the kits online and gave it to him as a gift, he flipped out as he never owned one and hadnt even seen one in over 60 years.Anyway, I realized that it is very possible that some strutters may come accross one of these while out in the field. I would like find another one and would be very greatful if anyone told me if they saw one in a store or knew of a dealer who had one. For whatever its worth, they were only made for a few years in Minnesota and I doubt if they ever left the midwest.Here is a photo:
