i just got my myspace up today, i wanna try to get into this, is it dope or just a waste of time??? im not very familiar with the whole myspace thing but please go pay me a visit i only got one view and ZERO friends http://www.myspace.com/upskiboo

    hahaa. no, no BAN.

    myspace is really good as a promotional tool. no doubt about it. its the only way i promote these days.

    a lot of people crack out on it though and take it too far. and like anything else, there will always be people bugging you to check out their shit, spamming your page with their wack flyers and promos for their "hot new beats" or whatever.

    so, with that in mind, it seems like anybody who is anybody doing something music related, or graphic, or video for that matter, has a myspace page. i mean, it really defeats the purpose of having your own web page. well, maybe i won't go that far.

    with that said, i'll add you as my "friend" (man, i hate saying that)

    for real, I think it is good as a promotion tool, but all these "Yeah, here, listen to my new mix-cd or album", and "we are doing anything you want, we are more than a business, we are a movement" type of shit can get on your nerves. plus the thing is ugly as hell....but I will add you as a frined in a sec...

    Oi Drez, does Queen Eva Skipper play bass with Zap Mama? I was at the concert a year or two ago, and I seem to remember she had a danish bass player in her tour band, and I think her name was Eva.
