I thought I'd share a few songs by Z-RO. He's been doing his thing for a while now. I don't know how his last record, "Let The Truth Be Told", was received, but I thought it was really good. These tracks are few favorites from that album. Enjoy & try to cop if you're feeling 'em. There haven't been many records in recent memory that can carry 17 tracks effectively. This one turns the trick. I also can't say that I've heard any crappy albums from him, either.     Z-Ro is amazing! I have the club wax from the last record and there ain't a bad track on it. "From The South" has definite anthem quality.

    everything i've ever heard from dude has been solid. good voice, good delivery, good sung choruses & usually good production. he deserves to blow up.

    i like dude's style, but some of the things i have heard his voice on didn't translate well for me. this is from an engineering stand point. i think they need to find him a different mic. his voice has so much low energy that i can't understsand him a lot. like on the draped up remix, i can barely hear him.

    but aside from me being super anal about that type of thing, dude is nice. he has been hot for awhile down in houston if i understand correctly.

    Dude is on some cult status Tupac-esque type shit but on a local level. Girls crying at shows, etc.

    dang. thats crazy.


    and i just listened to some more shit i had from him. i take back what i said about vocal clarity. it's just on draped up that it sounds so bassy. "from the south" has him sitting better in the mix.
