Chas already came through with that honky-tonk heat for Labi Siffre, so why not?

I seem to remember that one having the immortal line:

"Willie Thorn, his 'airs all gawn"

John Barnes 2nd finest moment on wax, his first being

You'd be surprised how many records Chaz & Dave come up on, they were session players du jour for a while. Years ago, my then boss sold something they played on for over a ton, and then rabbitrabbitrabitted about it for sodding ages.

In this corner we have the modern soul stylings and unstoppable offense of the '84 San Francisco Forty Niners

versus the urban flows and immovable defense of the '85 Chicago Bears

winner: with a certified gold record, '85 Bears come out on top here.

bonus round (tip of the jpg to funky16corners):

    Word!

I wish I could find a few of my others, but they are buried -
I have a couple cool old Celtics ones, the Red Sox "Impossible
Dream" 1967 LP, "I'm Tony - He's Phil: Story of the Esposito Brothers"
and a 45 by a pretty bad garage band doing a tribute to Bobby Orr!

Speaking of Bobby, here's his album:

I've always loved that "it's a new day" back cover...

    This cover is hardcroe:

And best of all, we got a stack of these at my old record store,
what a score, a tribute 45 to one of my all-time favorite Bruins
players and my absolute all-time favorite TV hockey analyst,
Derek "Turk" Sanderson, complete with faux-autographed 5x7 and
order form for his autobiography, "I Got To Be Me!"

Great, more artists to add to the list of "do not laugh, point, and move on, it may be worth a ton". Thank you Soulstrut.

They were just keeping the mic damp for the 86 Giants
