Instructional Music Production DVDs

I had a customer ask about a good series for his kid. Not being a producer I'm not sure if there is a good DVD or DVD series that would be beneficial. Any suggestions to supplement traditional practicing?

I know, but he is pretty insistent. I tried to divert him to just make the kid practice and read etc.
