I have no idea who goes tonight, but if I was going just off of the performances from last night and not a contest of popularity - I'd DEFINITELY say Pickler's card should get picked.

Can't argue on Paris.....I just thought Mandisa was stronger and had better range....Paris is very strong on the sultry jazz vocal tip but probably needs some years behind her before she can really belt it like Mandisa.
And all of it is just my opinion of course.
I think Elliott is out today.....Kelly and Ace are "pretty" and will get a # of the shallow superficial votes that Elliott won't
I would normally agree with you about Ace but he's been in the bottom 3 a bunch of times so it seems like he's always on the verge of being booted. I think Chris is probably siphoning off a lot of votes that Ace might have gotten if Chris wasn't in the competition.
And with Kelly, it's not just that she fits a certain beauty standard (read: next door porn star) - Katherine McPhee is likely "prettier" in a conventional way than Kelly - but Ms. Pickler has created a PERSONA that is just so damn likable to a lot of middle Americans. She makes Carrie Underwood seem like a biyatch in comparison.
The problem is that Kelly can't sing dependably the same way Carrie could - last night being a great example. I have to say - she started really well and then it all went to shit. Oops.

Justin - you know I love you man, but dude, I never wanted Chris to win. Sick of his wanna-be Creed style of singing, tired of his "I'm a rocker" vibe. I wanted Paris to win even though I knew she wouldn't. Of the folks who felt...I only like Yamin even though he doesn't strike me as an "Idol" type but hey, who knows?

paris was waaaaaay too much of a little girl for me. her voice made me cringe everytime. i saw her on gma the other day and had to mute it. she was talented but not good enough or pretty enough.
i liked pickler but she was dumber than jessica simpson and thats just sad. that whole "i went to ny and couldnt find the big apple..." comment ruined everything about her for me.

Dude was a phauxny alt-rock hack, but I can't say that I wasn't shocked to see him go down. McPhee is next, leaving Elliot and Taylor as top two, with Taylor winning. Even though I think Elliot is a better singer, Taylor is a better all around performer.
