MAC OSX - HELP I CANT GET ON THE INTERNET!!!

So I unplugged my DSL wire to send a fax and now I cant get back on. My little gague says: PPPoE IDLEHow do I connect. Seriously (i'm on the laptop) and I just installed Tiger and I dont know shit about it shit is all screwy.

    system preference/network/built in-ethernet

    you should have an ip address, but it shouldn't start w/ 192 as that is an internal ip address. Usually a reboot should fix things. Or you can just force the system to regrab an ip by changing DHCP to DHCP w/ manual address. Punch in a random ip, click apply now, then switch it back to DHCP and click apply now again.

    hah that sounds confusing, but yes a reboot first should fix things.
