Busta Rhymes took advantage of his time in Miami this week while attending the Winter Music Conference and confronted David Mays, the ex-publisher of 'the Source'. Busta is one of many rap stars, including 50 Cent and Eminem, who had a problem with the way Mays treated them during his time at the mag. Busta confronted Mays Sunday night at South Beach hot spot Opium, and ended up sending him to the hospital after smashing him in the head with a champagne bottle. Neither Busta nor Mayes are talking about the incident and no charges have been filed, but according to one witness, "Mays got around 50 stitches in the back of the head."On one hand, it's almost charming whenever a rap feud doesn't end up with someone in a pool of blood, on the other hand it's kinda weird that the only people who attack other people with champagne bottles are rappers and Joan Collins. Those two would also be wearing a gaudy full-length fur and tons of diamonds when they did it. In hindsight, rappers really might wanna reconsider who they model their tough guy theatrics after.
