anyone read the headlines today? it's all over the net..first of all the words 'pope' and 'fastrack' should never appear in the same sentence, sounds too corporate-y..secondly what's the deal with miracles?? i've read that they only count if they occur after the pope's death..

    to any catholic out there: so what counts as a miracle these days? water to wine, curing achy knees, appearing in a water stain underneath a train bridge..

    please forgive my ignorance, i'm not really into religion as a lifestyle.. more like a curious observer.

    Most of what I see listed when sainthoods are granted are "miraculous" cures associated in some way with the sainted individual, i.e. a horn was growing out of my ass, I prayed to Pope John Paul 2 and it fell off...

    can someone please elaborate a little. From what I've gathered from this post Pope Benedict listens to Live Smokey Robinson albums form the Mid-sixties and, because of it, he's making headlines in the corporate world.

    yo,on channel 4 the other night they were talking about a banker for the mason,mob,and the pope back in the early 80's they found hung from the london bridge....some funky stuff
